 Sunset Bay RV Resort & Campground

Ahmeek, Michigan

Located directly on the shores of Lake Superior, Sunset Bay RV Resort & Campground is one of the oldest continuously operating campgrounds in the Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Started in 1944 by Pete Lukonich, Sunset Bay has been a family favorite from generation to generation. There are 12 tent sites, 18 RV sites and 3 Cabins with Kitchens, Bathroom, Fireplace and supplemental gas heat. Sunset Bay has modern facilities including, Bath houses, Laundry, Ice, Pay Phone, Dump Station, 30amp Electric and Water at all RV sites. Tent sites have water only.  All site have campfire pits.  The Quincy Mine Tour, Calumet Theater,  Historic Keweenaw National Park and Scenic Copper Harbor are only a few of the many area attractions.  Wireless Internet (recently upgraded to higher speed, Miles of trails for Hiking, riding. A nice beach for swimming and launching canoes, kayaks and small boats.  State of the art Reverse Osmosis water system.

Cabins are $700/wk $135/day

All cabins have kitchens, linens, gas heat, fireplace, bathroom

firewood available  $6 per large bundle

RV's up to 29ft $30/day  Tents  $25/day

                           RV's 30ft+ $35/day     RV,s 40fr+ $40/day                          

refund of deposit is 30 days before reservation date on cabins and 10 days on campsites
