Sunset Bay RV Resort & Campground
Located directly on the shores of Lake Superior, Sunset Bay RV Resort & Campground is one of the oldest continuously operating campgrounds in the Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Started in 1944 by Pete Lukonich, Sunset Bay has been a family favorite from generation to generation. There are 12 tent sites, 18 RV sites and 3 Cabins with Kitchens, Bathroom, Fireplace and supplemental gas heat. Sunset Bay has modern facilities including, Bath houses, Laundry, Ice, Pay Phone, Dump Station, Electric and Water at all RV sites. Tent sites have water only. The Quincy Mine Tour, Calumet Theater, Historic Keweenaw National Park and Scenic Copper Harbor are only a few of the many area attractions. Wireless Internet (256k) , Miles of trails for Hiking, riding. A nice beach for swimming and launching canoes, kayaks and small boats. (200lbs). New Reverse/Osmosis water system coming in spring 2008.
